I write character-driven speculative fiction novels focusing on heavy themes like moral conflicts, mental health issues and toxic relationships. My current projects draw inspiration from video games and classic dystopian masters like Orwell and Vonnegut. Love stories about AI, transhumanism, badass women and the slow collapse of society as we know it? Have I got a tale for you.
“By viewing it through an unreal lens, the world looks more real.” – Haruki Murakami
I’m currently pursuing my MFA in Creative Writing at Western Connecticut State University. My thesis novel (still in development) will explore a new world under strict corporate-governed quarantine in the wake of an “emotional plague” where neurodivergence is society’s greatest enemy.
I love stories that have compelling characters, immersive worlds, and the tendency to make you question your life choices. Some of my favorites include 1984, The Circle, Flowers for Algernon, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Mass Effect, Full Metal Alchemist, and Avatar: the Last Airbender. I also love good food, tea, cosplay, and fountain pens.
